DAY 1 Arrive Urumqi   
Upon arrival airport ,transfer to hotel . Urumqi , a rapidly modernizing city on the plains at the eastern end of the Tian Shan, populated by Mao’s “Go West” campaign in the 1950s. We will visit Red Hill, which is a symbol of Urumqi, owing to its uniqueness. The body of the mountain, made up of aubergine rock, has a reddish brown color, hence, the name Red Hill. The hill is 1.5kmlong and 1km wide from east to west. On the peak of Red Hill, you will have the whole city of Urumqi before your eyes!

Day2: Urumqi –

– Kashgar   B.L   
After taking your breakfast we will head for Heavenly Lake, in the middle of Bogda Peak, 110 km (68miles) east of Urumqi. In summer, the beautiful lake is an ideal cool resort. Boaters on the lake see the ever-changing silvery mountains soaring into the blue sky, their slopes highlighted with verdant pasture and flamboyant wild flowers. A day in this fairyland promises restoration. You will also enjoy the snow-capped mountain and wild forest . In Urumqi , we will also pay a visit to the National Museum. The display of ancient mummies is fantastic, for it was in this region that a great number of ancient and well preserved remains were discovered. After dinner fly from Urumqi-Kashgar, the last station of the Silk Road in China. Kashgar was the great pivot point of the routes from China, departing south to India and west to Tashkent and Samarkand, ultimately reaching the Mediterranean and Rome.

Day3  Kashgar –Urumqi   B.L
Tucked against the Pamir rising to 25000 above the city, Kashgar is a desert city made up of walled
compounds of adobe brick that exactly match the tawny tones of the surrounding desert Visit the Grand
Bazaar, alive with storybook scenes: thousands of merchants haggling for camels, carpets and other native goods; items on donkeys and veiled women in their black robes We also visit Abakh Hoja’s Tomb, the Id Kah mosque and the surrounding bazaar, a medieval scene of craftsmen making things by hand–blacksmiths, coppersmiths, cobblers, woodworkers and other artisans who supply the local farmers and shepherds with the wares of daily life.  Transfer to airport and fly Kashgar-Urumqi.

Day4: Urumqi—Turpan B.L       
In the morning , we leave the Urumqi region and begin our journey towards South West with late arrival at Turpan hotel, check-in and dinner. The drive is fairly scenic, with Mount Bogda (18,200′), highest peak in the eastern Tian Shan Mountains, visible on the horizon, and the agricultural countryside around.
Turpan is an oasis watered by the melting snows of the Tian Shan, the “Heavenly Mountains.” Although located in the Turpan Depression, one of the lowest and hottest places on earth (Marco Polo heard of it as “the demon haunted desert of Lop”), Turpan has abundant crops of melons and produces fine grapes for wines as a result of the sophisticated karez system of irrigation.. we begin our sightseeing tour, visiting the remains of the ancient city of Gaochang, the red sandstone hills of the Flaming Mountains, the Astana Tombs, the Bezeklik Buddhist caves,

Day5: Turpan—Urumqi   B,L    
In the morning , We start our day with the Su Gong Tower. Emin Minaret is the largest extant old tower in Xinjiang; it is the only Islamic tower among the hundred famous towers in China. Right beside the minaret stands Su Gong Ta Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Xinjiang. The circular Emin Minaret and the square mosque are in sharp contrast without losing harmony. We will also visit the town-fortress of Jiao He, strategically placed on a mesa between two fertile river valleys and destroyed by the Mongols during a tax revolt by the locals. Then travel back to Urumqi, check in at the hotel.

Day 6 Depart Urumqi B
After breakfast, tranfer to airport for your flight back.
