Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing Capital Airport and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 02 Beijing B.L
This morning, depart your hotel to view the famous Tiananmen Square, the city center of Beijing and also the largest city-central square in the world. Walk north for several hundred meters you could enter into the world largest imperial palace – the Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties ruled the whole empire there. After a local lunch, continue your tour to Temple of Heaven, the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. This evening, enjoy a fantastic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the famous Red Theatre.

Day 03 Beijing B.L
Today, we depart the city for an excursion to well-known Badaling Great Wall. It is the grandest and most splendid section of all. Upon reaching the top, the view is great, and there will be a sense of accomplishment for you.  After lunch, the trip continues to the Ming Tombs. Here is where 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) were buried. Then we will walk along the Sacred Way which is lined with large statues that are several hundred years old. On your way back to the hotel, you will have some time to take pictures at the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube.

Day 04 Beijing – Shanghai B.L
Depart your hotel for a half day city tour of Summer Palace and Hutong area this morning. Your first stop is Summer Palace, which is the grandest imperial garden in China, constructed from 1749 to 1764. Then continue to the Hutong area and then take a rickshaw tour around the Shichahai area. You will experience old Beijingers’ daily life and feel the contrast to modern Beijing. After lunch, transfer to Capital Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Our local guide will wait for you at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

Day 05 Shanghai B.L
Your Shanghai tour begins at Shanghai Museum, which has a wide selection of Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Continuing on, the tour takes you into Yuyuan Garden, The 400-year-old garden was built in the Ming Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Jia Jin. It is a remarkable representation of a southern Chinese-style garden. You will also visit a shopping bazaar around the attraction. Loud, bustling and full of character, tourists can brush up on their bargaining skills as they shop for souvenirs and gifts. In the afternoon, take a one-hour Huangpu River cruise. Cruise on the Huangpu River is one of the best ways to see both old and new Shanghai. As you sail down the river towards the East Sea enjoy the views of the full sweep of The Bund and the 21st century cityscape of Pudong. After disembarking on the Bund, free time will be left for you to walk around the Bund.

Day 06 Departure from Shanghai B
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
