Day 01 Arrive Beijing  
Arrive Beijing, meet and transfer to hotel to check-in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 02  Beijing B
Full day visit the Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Forbidden City, home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Temple of Heaven, empires pray for an abundant harvest, and tour to Hutongs in rickshaw.

Day 03  Beijing B.L
Morning visit to Great Wall at Juyong Pass, the landmark of China and one of the most amaing feats of human labor. Afternoon visit to Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family.

Day 04 Beijing-Xi’an B.L
Morning transfer to airport and fly to Xi’an. Arrive Xi’an meet and visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses, at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor. Then transfer to hotel.

Day 05  Xi’an B.L.D
Morning visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and then transfer to the Xi’an Children’s Village and have lunch with the children. Afternoon visit the City Wall. Then have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 06   Xi’an-Chengdu-Ya’an B.L
Morning flight to Chengdu, meet and transfer to Ya’an Panda Breeding Centre, which is located in Bifengxia Town, Ya’an City of south-west Sichuan Province. It’s a giant panda’s paradise with well captive raising, reproduction, rare wild animal rescuing and education facilities.
Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ya’an.

Day 07  Ya’an B.L
Full day volunteer work at the centre. You will have a basic training course on how to take care of the pandas and the guidelines on working there. The contents of volunteer work are: – Feed the panda with bamboo, apple, or vegetables. – Clean the Panda’s enclosures and the gardens. – Prepare food such as bamboo for the pandas

Day 08  Ya’an B.L
Today you have chance to be a behaviourist, help researcher collect and analyse behaviour data of panda to find out requirement of Panda.

Day 09 Ya’an B.L
Today you will experience at Panda’s kitchen. You will have chance to make the steamed corn bread for panda as per the formula. Help Panda’s cook to distribute the steamed corn bread for pandas. You also have chance to know how to choose different food in difference season. End of volunteer work.

Day 10  Ya’an-Chengdu B
Morning you’ll be taken to visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Honoured as the ‘Treasure of Sichuan’, this system still plays a crucial role in draining off floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for more than 50 cities in the province. Late afternoon, you’ll be transferred to hotel in Chengdu.

Shanghai

Day 11 Chengdu-Shanghai B
Morning visit Thatched Cottage of Du Fu (Dufu caotang). Dufu is acclaimed “Sage of Poetry” and his poems are regarded as history in verse. In the afternoon, you are transferred to airport and fly to Shanghai. Remainder of the day is at leisure

Day12 Shanghai B
Full day visit Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden & the old town area. After lunch, you’ll have a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple. And stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the “Bund”.

Day13 Depart Shanghai B
At leisure till transfer to Pudong airport for homebound flight by own tickets.
