Forbidden City

Day 1 Beijing L
Arrive in Beijing and visit  Tian`an Men Square, and then tour the Forbidden City, the most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. After lunch Temple of Heaven. End your day with another highlight, Kong fu show in the evening.

Day 2 Beijing  B.L
Drive to(2.5 hours) Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tombs, then visit the Bird Nest, then drive back to your hotel.

Summer Palace Beijing

Day 3 Beijing to Luoyang  Overnight Train B.L
In the morning ,visit the Summer Palace, one of China’s largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. After lunch visit Lama Temple.Then take night train to Luoyang City  K269 Beijing 21:42 – Luoyang 6:59 next day Hutong tour in a Rickshaw

Day 4 Luoyang  B.L
visit White Horse Temple near Luoyang and then an excursion to Longmen caves – in the late afternoon transfer to Xian by Train  K889  Luoyang 16:02-Xian21:07  Pick you up and transfer to the hotel in Xian

Day 5 Xian – Kunming  B.L
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. In the afternoon visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a holy place for Buddhists. Xian City wall tour by bicycle for 1 hour. Take evening flight to Kunming  Arrive in Kunming, the guide will take you to the hotel. 

Lijiang City Yunnan

Day 6 Kunming – Dali B.L
Take the morning flight to Dali , an important stop on the Yunnan-Tibetan Highway. In the morning, tour the Erhai Lake by a local fishing boat. You will find the crystal blue lake and the green mountain range nearby look alike a Chinese painting. Then take a look of the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas, built 1,300 years ago. You can have a leisurely stroll in Old Town Dali at evening.

Day 7 Dali – Lijiang B.L
On the way to Lijiang , you will go to Xizhou Town where you can visit the local residence of  Bai people and enjoy the Folk Songs and Dances of the Bai ethnic minority while the famous Three Course Tea presented. Lijiang, bordering Tibet, is a small town with a spectacular mountain backdrop. We will tour the ancient Town of  Dayan, a World Heritage Site in China recognized by the United Nations in 1999.You can go to the Jade Dragon Mountain in the afternoon with the Yushanping Cable car to the top of the mountain. But The cable car will be closed before 17:30. While the sunset will be at 19:00 and I am afraid you will miss it. an excursion to Baisha Town, which I know is very interesting. You can visit the famous wall painting there.

Day 8  Lijiang – Shangri-la B.L
On the way to Shangri-la, you will visit the First Bend of Yangtze River, and the Tiger Leaping Gorge, then after lunch, take car to Shangri-la. You can visit the Songzanlin Lamasery this day.

Shangri La Yunnan

Day 9 Shangri-la B.L
In the morning, we will go to Deqin. You will visit there Lake Napa when you come back to ZhongdianOn the way you will visit Benzilan–a Tibetan town on the bank of Yangtse River, then Dongzhulin Monastery.

Day 10  Deqin- Shangri-la (Zhongdian) B.L
Enjoy the sunrise in Feilai temple, then go to Meili Snow Mountain to ride a horse up the Mingyong Glacier. Ater visiting, back to Shangri-la. You can visit there Lake Napa when you come back to Zhongdian.

Day 11  Shangri-la – Kunming/Yuanyang B.L
Take morning flight to Kunming, then take car to Stone Forest. A full day excursion takes you to the Stone Forest, one of the natural wonders of the area, which is about 90 kilometres south of Kunming. It is a huge collection of karst (limestone) pillars, some as high as 30 metres that have resulted from geological activity over 250 million years ago. The area was once a lake (marine fossils have been found) but shifts in the earths crust forced the limestone out of the ground and with subsequent wind and rain erosion created this mystical maze of pinnacles and peaks. After lunch, go to Yuanyang (5.5 hours).

Yuanyang Yunnan

Day 12  Yuanyang B.L
Yuanyang, the hometown of Hani and Yi nationalities. Here, you could experience the custom and culture of the colorful nationalities, but, the most importance is to visit the magnificent Terrace Field. Through thousands years, the Hani nationality work in the terrace field which could help them to get enough space to grow crops in such mountain areas. Nowadays, it is not only a farmland, but also the beautiful view attracts more and more photographers in the world. During these two days in Yuanyang, you will visit different places to enjoy the terrace fields .When you arrive, you will enjoy the sunset in Tiger Mouth ( a Yi’s village).In the morning, you will visit the local market of the local nationalities to experience their daily life. After lunch, you will tour the Jingkou village ( Hani’s ) to get some knowledge of the Hani nationality and of course to enjoy the terrace fields. Then, take photos in another place: Duoyishu. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the sunset in Tiger Mouth.

Day 13  Yuanyang/Jianshui B.L
In the morning, you will take car to Jianshui(3.5 hours), which situated in the southeast of Yunnan Province. It is a famous historic and cultural city in Yunnan. After lunch, you will visit the second largest Confucius Temple in China (the largest one is in Qufu, Shandong Province, Confucius’s hometown). Confucius is regarded as the primogenitor of the education in China. He founded Confucianism which is the base of Chinese culture and his minds are useful for the emperors of the feudal society to control the nation. So Confucius is worshiped by thousands years. Next, you will visit Tuanshan , a primitive village, where you could see some houses built in the traditional Chinese style. Today, you will stay in Zhu’s Garden, which is a historic heritage and now it is served as a hotel.

Western Hills, Kunming

Day 14 Jianshu/Kunming/Beijing B.L
Go to Kunming( 3.5 hours) to fly to Beijing in the evening. you will go to the Western Hill the Western hills lie a number of temples all with stunning views over the lake below. There is a Taoist shrine known as Dragon Gate, which is at the summit. At Dragon Gate there is a collection of pavilions, sculptures and grottoes that have been chiseled out of the cliff face. Most of the pavilions date from the Tang dynasty though the Dragon Gate was built by a Taoist Monk in the early 19th century and offers stunning views of the lake below.

Day 15 Depart Beijing. B
