Day 01 Beijing – Huangyaguan Wall
Arrival in Beijing and you will be transferred to hotel near Huangyaguan section of the Great Wall (2.5 hours drive).  After dinner, you’ll have an early night to recover from jetlag and get prepared for walking the Wall. Overnight at Huangya Guesthouse

Day 02 Huangyaguan – Jinshanling Wall B.L.D
Walk Huangyaguan section until Taipingzhai (about 8 km, 4-5 hours walking). With its walls and towers built on mountain ridge with an average altitude of 738 meters, the Huangyaguan is really overwhelming. To the east there is the cliff, and the west, crags. It winds its way across mountains like a dragon. Late afternoon drive to Jinshanling section of the Great Wall (about 2 hours drive). Overnight at a hotel near Jinshanling Great Wall

Day 03 Gubeikou –Jinshanling Wall B.L.D
Drive to Gubeikou section. Hiking from Gubeikou to Jinshanling Great Wall (about 6 hours walking). Gubeikou was a strategic fort to protect the capital in ancient times. This section of the wall meanders through the countryside and mountains, and you will be rewarded by the scenery along both the Gubeikou and Jinshanlng sections.Overnight at hotel near Jinshanling

Day 04 Jinshanling – Simatai Wall B.L.D
Hiking Jinshanling – Simatai Great Wall (about 5 hours walking). Jinshanling is known for it many beautiful watchtowers, as well as the way it winds and snakes its way along the mountains. The Jinshanling to Simatai hike includes both beautifully restored sections, along with the unrestored “Wild Wall” portion. Therefore, this hike perfectly encapsulates what the Great Wall is all about. Overnight Simatai Hotel

Day 05 Simatai – Mutianyu – Juyongguan Wall  B.L.D
Morning you will drive to Mutianyu section of Great Wall (1.5 hours driving) and walk for about 2-3 hours. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is a masterpiece of restoration, with 22 original style watchtowers. With the greens of pines and cypresses covering ninety percent of the surrounding area, the scenery here is beautiful all the year round.  After lunch, drive to Juyongguan Pass. Overnight at Juyongguan Great Wall Hotel

Day 06 Juyongguan Wall – downtown Beijing B.L
Walk the circular Juyongguan Great Wall. Set in a valley surrounded by mountains, Juyongguan Great Wall Pass has long been a military fortress. Many fierce battles were fought in Juyongguan Great Wall Pass. Then drive to downtown Beijing in the afternoon and visit Summer Palace en route.  Summer Palace(Yiheyuan) is a magnificent imperial garden located 12 km north-west of Beijing City. This is the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer retreat for Emperors.  Evening is at leisure

Day 07 Beijing B.L.D
Your today tour starts with a  visit to Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world and surrounded on all sides by official government buildings and important landmarks. Then walk north to visit the grand Forbidden City. an imperial complex home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Then you will have some leisure time in Temple of Heaven where ancient empires pray for an abundant harvest. Then you will have a special experience by riding a rickshaw along winding Hutongs. This evening, you’ll enjoy Beijing local flavour – Peking Duck – to celebrate the success of Great Wall walking!

Day 08 Beijing – Departure B
After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for departure flight.
