Badaling Great Wall

Day 1 Entry Beijing B
Arrive in Peking Capital Airport and our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and escort you to your hotel in Beijing city. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2 Beijing B.L
Pick you up from your hotel and starting your tour by visiting the magnificent Tianan Men Square, the heart of Beijing city, then walk north to continue your visit to the majestic Forbidden City, where 24 emperors rule this great country for nearly 500 years. The palace is the most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. After lunch head south to visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient building complex used to worship heaven. End your another highlight, Kungfu show at the Red Theater in the evening.

Day 3 Beijing B.L
Today drive to the north mountainous area to  have an excursion to the famous Badaling Great Wall,one of the man-made wonders of the world. Walk along the magnificent wall which zigzags along the mountain tops and valleys like a giant dragon. After lunch continue your visit to the Scared Way, a kilometer-long road flanked by huge human and animal statues to protect the imperial tombs, and next explore the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty were buried here. At the end of the day, enjoy your delicious Peking Duck dinner before back to the hotel.

Day 4 Beijing – Xian B.L
In the morning, visit the Summer Palace located in northwest suburb of the Beijing city, this is one of China’s largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. After lunch visit the Hutong, ancient narrow alleys to see how old Beijingers live their daily life. Then take flight to Xi`an and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 Xian B.L
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. These fabulous works were created 2,000 years ago to guard the tomb of Qing Shihuang, the first emperor of China. In the afternoon visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a holy place for Buddhists, then the Xian City Wall, the oldest and largest surviving wall of its kind in China. In the evening enjoy fantastic Tang Dynasty Dance show featuring music, dance and traditional costumes.

Day 6 Xian – Chengdu B.L
After breakfast visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, in which a huge amount of historical relics of past dynasties especially the Han and Tang dynasties are displayed to show the province’s glory past. Your next stop is the Great Mosque, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China. Then take flight to Chengdu and transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 Chengdu B.L
After breakfast drive to visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Center, where you will have a wonderful chance to get face-to-face meet with the Giant Panda. Afterwards, head to the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, a residential place for prominent brilliant poet works in Tang Dynasty. Then wander along the Jinli Ancient Street, where you can enjoy tea at tea-houses like locals and explore lots of interesting local living habits. This evening attend an entertaining performance of the Sichuan Opera.

Day 8 Chengdu –  Lhasa B.L
Today you will board the flight to Lhasa, where the altitude is 3,650 meters above sea level. On landing in Lhasa you will be transferred to hotel. Free at your own leisure in the afternoon..

Day 9 Lhasa B.L
Today you will visit the vast and magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit the Sera Monastery.Tonight while having dinner, you will be entertained with an unforgettable Tibetan dance and fashion show performed by a small group of Tibetan people.

Day 10 Lhasa B.L
Today you will visit the Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Street, where you will meet many pilgrims in procession prostrating along the street. After lunch, you will pay a visit to the Norbulingka Park which is the Summer Place of Dalai Lamas.and Drepung Monastery which is the biggest Gelupa Monastery in Lhasa,

Yangtze River cruise

Day 11 Lhasa – Chongqing B.L.D
Take a morning flight to Chongqing, a hilly downtown. Visit the Stilwell Museum with its collection of the famed Flying Tigers during World War ll and visit Ci Qi Kou Old Town with its Qing dynasty homes, tea houses, shops and old docks. This evening, board your cruise ship to begin your memorable cruise downstream.

Day 12 Yangtze River Cruise B.L.D
Set sail in the morning. Time to explore the ship’s many facilities before afternoon arrival at the Ghoast City Fengdu .

Day 13 Yangtze River Cruise B.L.D
Cruise through the first of the Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shennong Stream to view its breath taking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges

Day 14 Yichang – Shanghai B.L
This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Continue on to Yichang where you board your early afternoon flight to Shanghai. On arrival, check in to the hotel.

On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future. Then you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird’s eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower.

Day 16 Shanghai B.L
Morning tour to the Shanghai Museum, Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden .On your final night in China, prepare to enjoy the amazing Shanghai Acrobatic show.

Day 17 Depart Shanghai B
