Day 1 Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel. You will be free for the remainder of the day to explore this ancient city by yourself.

Day 2 Beijing B.L
After breakfast, we will head for Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world surrounded  by some most important buildings in the country, and then walk north for hundreds of meters, you will find the Forbidden City in front of you.  The imperial complex is home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch you will visit the Summer Palace in northwest area of Beijing, which is a former summer resort for the royal family. You will take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming if weather permits (not available in Winter).

Day 3 Beijing B.L.D
Firstly you will have a half day excursion to the Great Wall – one of the world’s most impressive historical landmarks. You will visit the less crowded Mutianyu section with cable car included. Mutianyu stretches its way for over 2 kilometers. This section is well preserved and is a good alternative for visitors who would like to avoid crowds in peak travel seasons. In the afternoon you’ll return to downtown and will visit the old Beijing Hutongs by rickshaw to see life of  traditional Beijing people and you will drop in an ordinary family courtyard-style home for a tea break and talking with the family. This evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roast duck dinner.

Day 4 Beijing B.L
Today you’ll drive to visit a special village called Cuandixia Village, which is an ancient mountain village with peaceful tranquilities and distinctive characters. It is located on an ancient post road in the mountainous area, 90 kilometers west of downtown Beijing. First built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Cuandixia Village preserves about 70 courtyard houses built with stones and wood.  The village hides itself quietly in the deep valleys. Almost each family at the village now keep their houses to take and welcome tourists.

Day 5 Beijing – Xi’an B.L
Your sightseeing this morning will first start with the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. When you visit the Temple of Heaven, you will see many local people relaxing in the park. People practice dances, Taichi  or practice their calligraghy skills by writing Chinese calligraphy on the cement ground using water.You’ll also have chance to visit a famous silk store close to Temple of Heaven which has a history of over a hundred years. This afternoon, you’ll take a two-hour flight to Xi’an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. You are transferred to hotel upon arrival

Day 6 Xi’an B.L
This exciting day of sightseeing will include the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, where there is a ceramic army of as many as 8,000 life-sized, intricately carved statues modeled after Emperor Qin’s army. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Dacien Temple. The pagoda was built in 652 AD and contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures obtained from India by the famous monk Xuanzang. Xi’an is also known for its fine jade carving and we stop at a store to get familiar with this craft.

Day 7 Xi’an B.L
Today you will  visit Dong Han Village, 30km west of Xian City. The village is well-known for its Chinese painting art and Chinese paper art. Travel to Donghan village, you will find your trip is not only interesting but also culturally rewarding. And it will be interesting to enjoy lunch at the locals’ family and learn about Chinese painting and paper cutting with local peasant painters,

Day 8  Xi’an – Shanghai B.L
Today, you’ll visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xi’an became the cradle of Chinese culture, and followed by a  visit to Ancient City Wall, the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for a two-hour flight to Shanghai, a cosmopolitan, bustling and heavily populated city in China. You’ll be transferred to hotel and free for the remainder of the day.

Day 9 Shanghai B.L.D
Your sightseeing today features a tour of the Yuyuan Garden, which is well known for the delicate buildings, exquisite layout and beautiful landscapes. Then you walk through the Yuyuan Bazaar near the garden, the area is home to a lively market that specializes in traditional Chinese arts and crafts.  and then stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the “Bund” with many colonial and classical buildings surrounded. After lunch, you’ll have a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple, the temple houses two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. After dinner, you’ll enjoy a stunning Acrobatic Show.

Day 10 Shanghai B.L
This fabulous day you will drive to visit a beautiful water town called Zhujiajiao. Located in a suburb of Shanghai city, Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers, the little fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains. You will have a cruise along the narrow lanes of this village, and take a boat ride down the river while admiring the traditional houses and tea places on both sides.

Day 11 Departure B
At leisure until your transfer to the airport for onward flight. End of your unforgettable China trip.
